In order for a child to develop a healthy palette, he or she needs to try a variety of different foods with different tastes and textures. However, in America, parents are often left with limited options on the kids menu – one that is full of “kid foods”, such as pizza, chicken nuggets and French fries. As children are hard-wired to crave sweet and salty foods, this menu can only create problems in the long-term for the children who are consuming these foods regularly.
