Breastfeeding has long since been known to have many benefits for both mom and baby, including but not limited to less ear infections and respiratory issues for baby and reduces the risk of certain types of cancer for mothers.  However, a recent study from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) highlights the importance of breastfeeding for obesity prevention in babies, specifically long-term breastfeeding.
